A Reply to Umar Mukhtar (about Racism)

A Reply to Umar Mukhtar

I have written a bit on this in Malaysiakini, but here it is again for Umar's benefit. Let me first say that racism exists all over the world to some extent and in every strata of society. This is a known fact. Perhaps Umar was referring to this fact. But what Malott's comment was more on this, that the racism practised here in our country is INSTITUTIONALISED and an OFFICIAL POLICY of the UMNO government. The racism exhibited by everyone else is societal, not official government policy, like what is happening in our country, and this is what Malott meant. Do you catch the drift now, UMAR? And tuan UMAR, what is the NEP, if it is not racist? Why are nearly 100% of government servants Malay? Why are almost 100% government scholarships given to one race? It was only during the last 6 to 7 years when some really bright Chinese were not offered scholarships that the matter came to a head, and it was then that UMNO agreed to allocate 10% of scholarships to non-Malays. That was only 6/7 years ago or so. How about MARA catering specifically to one race only? How about FELDA? How about the rice mills in Kedah being robbed from the Chinese? How about the transport companies and banks being taken over from the non-Malays? How about almost all multi-million and multi-billion projects being awarded to cronies who know nothing nor do they have any financial standing? The list can go on for another 30 items, but I am sure you get the drift now, Tuan UMAR. I have state before many times, that UMNO is the only party left standing in the world that practises racism, discrimination, and apartheid as its official policy and political ideology.

And I would also like to add that the so-called Talent Corporation is another racist arm of UMNO whose main fundtion is to lure back the qualified Malays who have also left our shores, not luring back the non-Malays. UMNO doesn't fool me. Over to your, Tuan Umar. We are all waiting for your reply.
